Rogers Park Shelter Photo Gallery
Our Rogers Park shelter is more than a place to sleep—it’s a model for how Chicago can better support people experiencing homelessness. Designed in partnership with Gensler, this trauma-informed space provides not just emergency shelter but also the resources needed for long-term stability.
With 35 private rooms, each housing two men, the shelter prioritizes privacy, dignity, and stability. Natural light, calming design elements, and comfortable furnishings create an environment where residents can focus on rebuilding their lives. This first-of-its-kind shelter in Chicago is expected to serve 250 men each year, reducing time spent in shelters and accelerating the path to permanent housing.
